If you have chapter Correspondence Course or
upcoming Workshop, that you would
like to have posted, email me!
Spring has 'sprung' and along with the daffodils and cherry blossoms come new opportunities for learning, stitching and camaraderie through your membership in EGA and GPR.
Margaret Kinsey's stunning silk and metal piece, Circle with a Blue Flower has been chosen as the 2009 Region Correspondence Course. Teacher fees are underwritten by Region as a service to our member chapters. The details for this elegant and accessible project have been distributed to all chapter Newsletter Editors and Presidents.
At the Saturday, June 6th Region Meeting, be sure to enjoy our annual Teachers' Showcase. Come meet, greet, ooh and aah as the cream of our Teaching crop display their latest classes, workshops and courses. Some of your favorites are back, and we have new-to-EGA entries also. There's nothing like seeing the actual projects and meeting the teacher in person to get your juices flowing. Plan your entire chapter year, pick up fliers and brochures to show your Board while strolling through the Showcase from 1:00pm - 2:00pm.
We have updates and additions to the Treasured Teachers' Directory. They will be listed on the GPR website as they occur. You can obtain your hard copy of the Directory by sending $13 (check made to GPR-TTD) to Sara Zander, 1614 Calle Ranchero, Petaluma, CA, 94954.
Happy Stitching and Learning!
